Who we are
Flagship Mobile Engineering (“we”, “us”) is a mobile engineering company based in Utah, USA. We design, build and ship iOS and Android apps and the cloud backends behind them. We are responsible for the information described in this policy.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you book a call, our scheduling provider, Calendly, collects your name, email address, phone number, the time you choose and anything you add in the booking form. We receive these details so we can prepare for the call and follow up with you.
When you ask us to call you back, the form sends your name, email address, phone number and, if you provide them, your company and a description of your project. Our form provider, Web3Forms, delivers these details to us by email.
Information collected automatically
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 (through Google Firebase) to understand how visitors use the site — pages viewed, clicks on booking buttons, completed bookings, how you arrived (for example, a search or a link), device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to do this.
- Server and security logs. Our hosting provider, Google Firebase Hosting, processes your IP address, browser details and the pages you request in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
- Fonts. The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser sends your IP address to Google when the page loads.
We don’t ask for, and don’t want, sensitive information such as health or financial data through this site.
How we use it
- To schedule, prepare for and follow up on calls you book or request.
- To reply to you and discuss a potential project.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.
- To keep the site secure and comply with our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site and our business, and only for the purposes above:
- Calendly — scheduling and booking confirmations.
- Web3Forms — delivering call-back requests to our inbox.
- Google — website hosting (Firebase Hosting), fonts and analytics (Google Analytics).
Each provider handles information under its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information if required by law, or as part of a merger or sale of our business.
Cookies and your choices
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works without them.
- You can opt out of Google Analytics on every site with Google’s browser add-on.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and contact details for as long as we have a business relationship with you or need them to respond to you, and longer only when the law requires it. Google Analytics keeps event-level data for no more than 14 months. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to correct it, to have it deleted, and to opt out of targeted advertising. We extend these rights to everyone, wherever you live, and we won’t treat you differently for using them. To make a request, contact us as described below. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it.
Security
The site is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections, and we limit access to booking information to the people who need it. No method of storing or sending data is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children
This site is meant for businesses and isn’t directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our site or services change. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
